Program Overview

At Business Objects we know that partnerships are essential to our success. Partners are critical for delivering value to our customers. That’s why long-term strategic business partnerships are central to our go-to-market strategy. Business Objects builds key relationships in five partnership categories: technologyOEMvolume and value-added reseller (VAR), and system integrator (SI) partners. We also work to continuously improve our partnership program so partners and customers are successful.

Partnership Options

Within each partnership category, a range of achievement levels are available: Gobal Alliance, Platinum, Gold, Silver, and Bronze. Some partners may fit into a combination of partnership category and achievement level. Through this tiered partner program, partners can increase their achievement level (and benefits) by meeting specified goals over time.

Partnership Requirements & Benefits

Overall requirements for partnership and program benefits are a function of partnership category, level, and country. After qualifying for partnership, partners receive a combination of benefits based on their specific partnership arrangement. Benefits may include: sales resources, marketing and technical support, education and certification programs, as well as access to a not-for-resale product library.

Global Alliance Partners

Global alliance partners, our highest achievement level, are leaders in technical, marketing, sales and/or service capabilities and are generally the standard in their specific market. Offered partnership by invitation only, global alliance partners are expected to contribute millions in direct or influenced revenue.
